Hells Angels Help Out St. Anthony's Dining Room

One San Francisco charity got a helping hand carving their turkeys for Thanksgiving from the Hells Angels.

25 members of the Bay Riders, San Francisco's chapter of the Hells Angels, complete with leather and tattoos, came to pitch in Wednesday at the kitchen at Saint Anthony's Dining Room, which serves the homeless.

"We heard the roar of the Hell's Angels coming down Golden Gate Avenue," said Barry Stenger with St. Anthony's. "They're carving turkeys, making miniature pumpkin pies and preparing some vegetables."

The motorcycle club contacted the charity wanting to lend a helping hand. One of the bikers was Mike Detomafi.

"A lot of people out there need a good meal," Detomafi said. "I'm going to put in a couple extra hours to help these guys out."
